          Biography

          Beatrice was born in 1475.

          She was the daughter of Ercole d'Este and Eleonora of Naples. She was engaged at the age of five to Ludovico Sforza "il Moro" (son of Francesco Sforza and Bianca Maria Visconti), whom she married in 1491.
